Navod Paranavithana, a promising Sri Lankan cricketer, was born on May 16, 2002. He made his mark in the sport by earning a spot in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In March 2020, Paranavithana achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first player to score a quadruple century in a school cricket match in Sri Lanka. His exceptional talent led to his List A debut in October 2021 for the Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club, followed by his Twenty20 debut in May 2022.
Known for his left-handed batting and left-arm slow-medium bowling, Paranavithana primarily serves as an opening batter.
